lyrics
Majestic white walls
Rise from Mount Maghara
Welcome to the castle
My family awaits
Lolita under parasol
Defended by his ghost
Rising from the desert
As I crave my dose
Blood of kin as one
Scent of Satan pungent from the goddess
Oh the scent of Satan pungent from the lamb
Scorpion cyanide
Take my ether
Take my scythe
Scorpion cyanide
Bathe in venom
My death in sight
Bathe in venom
My death in sight
Scorpions of Sinai
Take my ether
Take my scythe
Bathe in venom
My death in sight
Blinded by moon spell
As the heavens overlook
She is so innocent and eager
And brazen and my blight
Scent of satan pungent from the goddess
Scent of satan pungent from the lamb
Blinded by moon spell
As the heavens overlook
The lioness upon me
Blood of kin as one
Violence demands my silence
Arcane purity steals my breath
Light floods in
Her duality departs
Fuck
Innocent and eager
Brazen and my blight
Infected with leprosy
To my host’s delight
Scorpion cyanide
Take my ether
Take my scythe
Scorpion cyanide
Bathe in venom
My death in sight

Californian quartet defining themselves as Sci-Fi black metal, maybe due to cosmic and interstellar topics, sounding like blackened death metal too ("The Maw"). It's a well-balanced melodic black metal album, with some fast-paced tracks and nice rhythmic transitions reminding me of Swiss band Celtic Frost (e.g. Terminal Odyssey). In other words not overly dominated by drum speed and also not sounding as extreme or as raw as some BM can be. sachavonkarl74
